Ethiopia Aricha
—beauty in a cup

We’re featuring the very delightful Ethiopia Aricha in our blog. Sourced from a 12-13ha area within the Aricha farm group in the highlands of the Gedeo region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia (altitude: 1,900m–2,150m above sea level), the single varietal Dega coffee bean is naturally processed to produce a clean, floral taste with deep flavours of macerated berries and milk chocolate, making a complex espresso or a sweet milk drink.

We’re proud to work with local roasters The Roast Things, who have brought us these wonderful beans. Established in 2014, their philosophy is simple—make honest, good coffee—and they work hard to create balanced coffees that are colourful and delicious. The team is headed by Ving and Jin: Ving is a seasoned brewer who carefully curates and roasts beans sourced  by resident Q-grader Jin, who selects coffees from around the world that are  delicious and suitable for every palate.

They are also very keen to share what they know about coffee, and run classes for beginners all the way to professionals. To learn more about what they do, visit their Facebook page and website.
